Oct 31, 2008 Monopoly pc game (1995 verision)? Hey i found in my cupboard my old old pc game monopoly - i think it's the 1995 verision, but for some reason it wont work on my vista, does anybody know of something that i could download to make it work??? All of the rules are present from the board game, and it's pretty customizable, so any of the rules that you always played under with the family can be done here too (thank you, Free Parking bonus!). And most impressive of all, if you didn't have anyone sitting at the keyboard to play with you, you could play against a buddy on the internet. Pretty groundbreaking stuff, overall. I also really got a kick out of the AI players being named after other popular computer game characters of the era. The simpleton that I have in there was meant to be He-Man, but then I realized that Adam of Eternia would not fit in the blank. Anyways, maybe now why he's using the iron makes more sense. For me, this version of Monopoly is to the PC as the NES version is to the consoles.
